Sexual + Reproductive Health Intern – Syphilis Prevention
Essential Access Health is seeking a paid Sexual + Reproductive Health (SRH) Intern for Fall + Winter (October – January) 2023-2024 to support efforts to develop resources to address rising congenital syphilis rates in impacted communities in Los Angeles County.
The SRH Intern will attend focus groups and summarize data to inform syphilis and congenital syphilis prevention public awareness campaigns. Additional tasks may be assigned based on the interests of the intern candidate.
This position is remote, part-time, and will span 3 months. Compensation for this internship $24/hour.

- Access to a personal laptop/computer
- Advanced writing and communication skills
- Enrolled in a Master’s program, Public Health or related field preferred
- Fluency in English, Additional fluency in Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health topics preferred
